Josh performed a Brit Milah for both of our sons, now aged 2.5 and 7 weeks (the youngest during the Covid pandemic). He was incredibly reassuring, calm, caring, professional, warm and friendly. Josh called us the evening before to explain everything and answer any questions we may have before the day. He clearly set out each stage of the procedure and gave a detailed explanation of the healing process and required aftercare. We were recommended to Dr Plaut through a friend as we were looking for a procedure that was more surgical than religious. During Covid times, it also suited us to have it done without any guests. Dr Plaut responded to our email straight away, once our son was born, and he was able to commit to our chosen date. The night before the procedure, we had a thorough conversation about the events of the next day and we felt very reassured. On the day of the circumcision, Josh (as he refers to himself), made us feel comfortable and at ease with the situation. He acted with total professionalism and confidence and we were left with no unanswered questions. Our little boy was comfortable throughout the procedure and the aftercare was considered and easy to manage.

Given the circumstances, without any other family present, we felt that the morning was far more personal and meaningful than we could have imagined.  Josh stayed for a while after the procedure to check that our son was OK and that we were OK too.
